Wow. I’m speechless. That was awful. Alec Baldwin is usually a sure thing on SNL. Tonight’s episode was brutal. Baldwin’s Hulu ad was better than anything he did tonight.
- I laughed exactly once: “…the curious case of some old man baby…bitch pleeze!”
- The opening, pre-monologue skit had potential, but fell flat. I feel bad [...]

Beans and Barley
Man, I love this place. It was my first choice for lunch yesterday, but a big crowd and long wait threw a wrench in my plan. I woke up early this morning still having the itch to eat there, so I made it my breakfast and coffee destination. On previous visits I’ve usually ordered the [...]
Mayura
I was running errands downtown this afternoon. It was around lunch time, so I needed to grab something. I stopped at Beans and Barley. It was packed and there was a wait. N.A.S.A. - The Spirit of Apollo
Along with the new Animal Collective, this is easily the most addictive album I’ve listened to so far this year. Here’s one of my favorite tracks on it. The album is due out next Tuesday.
Whachadoin? (feat. Spank Rock, M.I.A., Santogold, & Nick Zinner) - N.A.S.A.
The National (on National Ave)
Reading a newspaper over breakfast and coffee is one of my favorite things to do. Changing work locations over the past few months has left me looking for a new spot.
Thanks to a recent write up in onmilwaukee.com, I decided to check out The National.
It’s such a fantastic little cafe with cool [...]
The Life of Leisure Part II
Good morning! After taking nearly a year off from documenting my leisurely escapades, I’m ready to resume. It’s going to be almost 60 degrees today — the unofficial first day of Spring. It seems like the right time to start again…and this time with a nifty new url. Cheers.
